Romeo and Juliet, by Shakespeare, is a play which shows how preference prompts heightening savagery. Partiality prompts savagery appeared in the play when the quarreling families, the Montagues and Capulets, battle. For each situation, disturbance, battling, wounds and passing happen. The quarreling began in Act 1 Scene 1, when the Capulets and Montague hirelings stood up to one another. When Tybalt needed retribution against the Montagues, he at that point stood up to Romeo and Mercutio and began a duel.
